1.1. How to clear CMOS password

Problem

Can not enter CMOS setup due to password. 

Solution

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remove the battery and AC adapter from the computer before performing this task. This should only be performed by a qualified computer technician.

Clear the BIOS password by shorting the J1 jumper leads on the main board (See attached picture). The jumper is accessable by removing the cover over one of the Mini-PCI-E cards.
