Problem

Can not remove monitor base from stand in order to return in the box.

Solution

First remove the 13 screws from the bottom of the base.

You will now see an oval pattern with 4 clips.  See picture below for their locations.

You will need a flat screw driver to pry all four to release the stand.

This image shows where to insert the screwdriver for the back clips

You will need to work all four evenly until the stand pops loose.
